the fact remains that during the 14 years of superleague you have done better on 2 occasions and on both those occasions you have not won anything. You cannot compare previous years because circumstances were different (NO SALARY CAP)

You can only count the years that we have been on an equal footing and so the past 3 years are the only years you can go on. Just because those years dont make you look better than us doesnt mean you can drag up the whole SL era that you have been part of! What happens if after the next 2 games you have a massive slump again like last year and once again we do better than you? Do you continue to use your "We've made a GF appearance (still not won it!) and won a CC" and then tell us we cant use the 10-5 argument because its 30yrs ago that it happened???

We've been on an equal footing for about 100 years. You not being in superleague was nobody's fault but Rovers

How can we be on equal footing for 100 years yet 14 years ago circumstances were different as you state.
By the way I will not look forward to 2091 now in the fear that Gordon is still alive and will drag this thread to the top of the pile to prove he was right.

For much of our early time in SL we were operating way under the maximum salary cap due to the 50% rule, hence we were not playing on the level field that you find yourselves on now you smaller clubs are allowed to overspend. Therefore there is no reasonable comparison to be made as financially you are spending way more than we did at a comparable time in our SL lifetime
