Did the Eagles go in at ht? I don't think they cud, they were stuck 2 the pitch. Wow what a terrible pitch. Anyway what a shame we didn't take at least a point away from this game. Our defence was outstanding in the second half, they must av had 5 sets on our line n didn't score. All our boys worked so hard but nothing seemed to go right in the second half. I nearly had a fight wi this old women, I swear I nearly lamped her 1, she'd def got beef wi me. Gawd n I'm just sooo not violent. Haha. Hope Jacks ok, looked like a shoulder injury. 32 - 26

Your lads were 2 or 3 knock-ons from winning today.
You will be up there this season, look forward to our next game against you.

Thought we were excellent first half, really unlucky to be going in at half time at 12 all. Halifax had 5 back to back sets on our try line in the second half and that did for us, we defended them all superbly but it ultimately tired us out and lost us the game, then we allowed silly errors to creep in. We should've really been able to see the game out with a 14 point cushion in the second half, but never mind. Couple of very strange decisions by Mr Leahy and his merry men today, not sure what happened when the touchy put his flag up from the drop out, and definitely not sure why the game restarted with a PTB. Sayeed Tamghart should have been sent off for the punch to Ged's face, instead of just a yellow card, and I'm not entirely sure Ashley Thackeray dropped the ball, and Fax score the winner from the resulting scrum. Yet ANOTHER bonus point, we still haven't lost a game by more than 12 points in the league since this rule came in.
We'll be there or there abouts this season, I'm still hopeful of a top two finish.

God I forgot abt the BP! I agree about Ashley, I didn't think he knocked on either. What a cracking game, n tbh there's nothing really in the 2 teams. We look the business this season. Craig Cooks is such a great player as are all the lads this season from what we've seen up2 now. It was a really entertaining match. Well worth the £5 I paid for me n Ella. A women gave us some tickets just as we were going in. £15 is a lot to stand.

They certainly did. I actually applauded that defensive effort. Thought a draw would have been a fairer result. Very very impressed with Sheffield. Onwards & upwards !
