Have you ever stopped to think that maybe there was a reason for that? Maybe Rovers didn't want to spend a big chunk of cap in a position they were already well covered in (2 x SL Dream Team 2nd Rowers suggests it wasn't our priority).

Besides, it comes down to best use of cap money (as always). Rovers have only splashed out big on Clinton this year, and by almost everyone's opinion, he plays in a position where we needed strengthening.
