I would expect with their huge buying power and business partners for them to build a hell of a lot more for their money than your average new stadium punter.

Most buildings associated with Peel are architecturally naff. Grand in some cases, but ultimately naff.

Surely if AFL are the appointed architects the design should be impressive?

First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.

It was never going to be all seater.

I heard from someone who's seen the plans.

Nah, standing as near to the halfway line every time for me. Gives you much better perspective on forward passes etc. :thumb: Only problem with this is it is sometimes difficult to see if a ball's been grounded properly from so far away.

Always preferred to stand/sit behind the goals at OT though. Not sure why this is but have hated it anytime I've had to sit in North or South stand.

i love the kc it has great atmosphere but i prefer a stadium to have 1 stand for standing so basically the people who want to stand and sing go in that stand and the others who like to take there familes and sit down can go in the others. at times at the kc you have parts that stand and sing and others who dont in the east stand so it dosent fully maximise the atmosphere that could be generated. id like you lot to have a bowl shaped stadium like the kc but with 1 stand along the pitch for standing like halliwell jones with the rest all seating, also have the corners filled thats the only peoplem with halliwell jones. and do have the ffunding for the stadium.

See at OT sat in the Stretford end 3 from the front, so I like to see games from behind the sticks, not allowed to swop with a mate anymore who sits right behind the nets at OT in the stretty due to me trying to save every shot :D

I drove over Barton bridge today and there was 1 jcb type vehicle with one guy who looked like he was removing all the scrub as he drove along. It seems that work has started if somewhat small scale
