But only because on both occasion the turnstyle operators were instructed to override the system and allow everyone through regardless of the status of their pass once it became clear that large numbers of people were being affected.
This information is coming from your own fans and in one instance someone who is also a turnstyle operator.
I'm not trying to pin all the blame on the club as it's more than likely that the root cause is a problem with the system they have had installed and/or the passes they were sent. I just feel that it's disingenuous of the club and some fans to try and pretend that there are practically zero problems and that the majority are either self-inflicted or due to fraud.

Whilst Mrs B and co may well make mountains, it shouldn't be forgotten that every club has fans who will try and fraud their way in to events, be it sporting or otherwise. I suppose most fans know someone operating scams....like someone within an education establishment for instance giving out letters stating that such and such is a college student thus allowing those persons to get cheaper passes. Some of these must be the most long serving students ever.
There will no doubt be a lot of scams / prospective scams nationally and our local scum will no doubt trying to follow suit.

Mrs Barista wrote:So the average punter pays £60 to fund this system. The club pockets this money in July/August 2009. Passes are distributed in haphazard fashion with Rovers having to get people to go in and collect them a week or so before the season starts. There are issues on day 1 both with passes and away supporters matchday tickets. The club issues a statement on the official website declaring the whole thing a success. The club then issues a statement on the website asking people to go in and validate their passes. Further issues occur vs Huddersfield, again with both passes and matchday tickets. The club puts out a statement claiming season pass fraud is now an issue. This begs two questions. Why are matchday tickets affected, and is this a new problem since the declaration of complete success after the Salford game? There is also the logistical issue around junior pass swaps. Hudgell is quick to accuse other clubs of "selling their fans short", but if I'd shelled out £60 to bankroll this 7 months ago and had a pass that didn't scan, I'm not sure I'd class it as good value.
You're forgetting the overiding factor of an overall £1 gain providing you spend £1253 in the shop on shoddy merchandise

Talking of looking stupid you said the issues totalled "NIL". That will teach you to believe the Rovers website "system success" statement.

Not really. You said problems were "NIL" with the new system. Given that even the CP spin machine had backtracked on this, you might say to have claimed "NIL" problems was either stupid or deliberately untrue.

If you go with stupid untrue claims i could easily track down a lot including Fisher spending his time out of the team in 2010 to Rovers getting rid of players to accomodate Clinton etc, etc......but to be honest most of your "spin" is rumour / inuendo caused by obvious obssesion and most on here treat it as such.

So you are standing by your smug assertion that the new turnstile systems has had "NIL" issues then?
