Lord God Jose Mourinho wrote:On the whole I thought it was a pretty good performance from us. Poor result, and poor defending at times cost us very dear, but all the luck was with Inter. Their second goal was particularly galling. We'd had half a dozen similar chances like that and the bounce of the ball went wrong for us. Their first attack after our goal and the ball sits up perfectly for them to score.
Terry still looks as though his head is elsewhere. He was poor in the first half.
Ingerland will be fooked versus Egypt. I can't think of any centre backs on form or fit ATM.

Wasn't sure on Jose's subs. I'd have took Milito off for Pandev and let Eto'o lead the line for the latter stages. Milito is a quality player, wanted us to get him a few years ago when Zaragoza went down. I'll be very surprised if he, Samuel and Cambiasso don't go to the WC, but anything is possible with Diego.

* Andriyi Arshavin * Aaron Lennon * Joe Cole * Florent Malouda * Luka Modric * Niko Krancjaer (sp?) * Ashley Young * James Milner * Martin Petrov * Craig Bellamy * Matthew Etherington
I am sure there are more but I cannot be bothered listing any more. If he is 'excellent', how would you describe those listed above?
Arshavin Played 24 scored 7 with 1 assist Milner Played 25 scored 4 with 11 assists Valencia played 27 scored 5 with 9 assists the rest of your list isn't even worth looking up

Adebayor's sending off looked very harsh to me but it was Steve "look at me" Bennett so nothing surprises me there. Looks like Mancini is fitting in nicely at City though, claiming that they thoroughly deserved to win the game - the lying get!! Plus he promised to win the FA Cup after their sembo defeat to Nited - another lie!!

Did he? I must have missed that.
I wouldnt say that we deserved to win the game, but we should have won it. We were well on top for the first 30mins but let Stoke get back into it and then take control.
Mancini's problem at the moment is that he's trying to play solid, defensive football but isnt getting the results. Not a good recipe for survival in management. Its traditional Italian football but without the counter attacking threat. Once we'd established superiority last night we should have gone on to dominate the game, instead we became ever more cautious.
