er im commenting on the title of the thread which was clintons comments in the hdm ,and the very public support your club gave to reducing super league ,if your club was still NL1 would you be calling to reduce.

Rugby League will stay in the Shadow of Rugby Union whilst they maintain their untransparent nature!

While I'll now be using 'pillcock' to abuse my work colleagues next week, I request that further discussion of the relative benefits of a 12 or 14 team SL to be carried out in a calmer, friendlier manner. :DAISY:

Don't see why not. We'd be just as happy to replace the 12th SL team as the 14th.

Unfortunately, I think you are spot on, which is why RL will remain a small sport. Can you imagine the FA 'saving' Man utd or Chelsea if they had a bad season and finished in the bottom three, not a chance, they would go down the same as any club would. I for one would love to go back to P&R and if we finish in the drop positions, so be it.
