Anyone on here a member? Mr B bought one of these to get the DVDs for one of our red and white inlaws as a Christmas present, but we've not received the Salford game yet. Does anyone know when we can expect it? All we've had so far is a compliments slip. Tried ringing the shop once today but no reply.

I am a member and I haven't received the DVD yet. I got the virtual season pass for the last two years. It usually took 1-2 weeks to turn up, but things slowed down a bit towards the end of last year. I e-mailed them and then the stuff turned up within a couple of days, so either I wasn't quite patient enough or it was a timely reminder.
I like the 'relative' excuse by the way.

Very disappointing thread this.
Was hoping you were about to announce that you were going to go roving far and wide, preferably somewhere without the internet.
Pretty sure Obersturmbannführer Mild Rover is a member. He's always had good reports, terrible bad luck for you that once again you appear to have suffered awfully at the hands of the Rovers commercial department.
EDIT; Whilst I was making a cup of coffee Obersturmbannführer Mild Rover turned up and confirmed as above.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Thanks for the Nazi appellation pmh - that has done my self-esteem no end of good. I'm really more of a chilled out Chekist kind of guy, though.

Not gonna last long with that sort of attitude in the mod family, might as well aim for the sky.

I'm not that disappointed, don't feel too bad for me. Mr B's dad is understanding of the delays in the context of his own experiences of the retail function at CP.

I think I should just take a moment to praise Hull KR's marketing contact for taking the time to contact me regarding this issue. Top marks!
Now stop surfing the net and do some real work!
I'd best do that myself.

Ditto. Lucky for us that Rovers are paying staff to browse the cabbage patch, I say.
Out of interest, should we have a Teamcard? All we've received so far is a compliments slip through the post.
