I have been a Salford fan all my life - when am I going to see a team that I can be proud of???

It has been such a long time - even my son is asking me why i still support them!

We do live down south now so you have to understand him!

I often get asked that question. My reply is that it is in my blood and will always support through thick and thin.

I was quite proud of the Gregory-managed team that won BOTH championship leagues to get into Super League.

I have always been proud to support Salford.

As for a team to be proud of that applies to any Salford team that goes out and gives their best. There is no shame in noble defeat.

The problem is that we are currently a disorganized mess on and off the field. We have some good players and could improve- but that depends on someone taking responsibility. For example, how can you be out enthused in the first home game of the season?

every team salford put out i feel proud , ok at the moment we lose more than we win , but if we all pull in the right direction ,get behind the team ,and cheer like your life depends on it ,then i am sure the players will respond , hopefully on friday against leeds, this could well be a turning point in our season ,a good performance against them would get the lads on a high and then hopefully we will kick on from there ,and then who knows , sooner rather than later we will come good,this is the time when we are all needed by our team
