I believe because of some players (not Cooke) rightful reticence to move on (or quit!!) that Clintons contract has had to be rejigged for the first year to enable us to satisfy the salary cap regulations, and he will be with us shortly...

Sounds the most plausible explanation so far, given the speed of Orford's application processing. Does that mean he'll be on £200k for the 2011 season?
