It depends on what you expect. Certainly, getting thumped by the "weakest" team in SL is very worrying- although in my opinion NOT unexpected.
The blind support vs. critical support debate has been done to death previously. As I have stated previously loyalty is a two way street and I for one am currently very disappointed with the club. There is a lack of direction (on/off the field) and no meaningful communication.
What we have is the usual whinge fest vs the shut the f8ck up brigade. For once it would be nice if we and the club all pulled in the same direction. Some evidence of planning and communication would help this happen.

Not only poor on the pitch, but i arrived early to watch a rerun of a past match and some entertainment, what do we get nothing and no information as to why.
I think jw has too many amateurs around him and these are pulling the club the wrong way, i would get some advice from Sale about any pre and after match club entertainment because they must be doing something to get the people in.

Don't think it's just the players that need to have a look at themselves.
Indeed.
I had 4 others with me (3 who have been before but a not yet complete converts, 1 who had never been).
They weren't put off by the quality of the RL, or by the Salford performance, but they were significantly less than impressed by the constant booing and general lack of atmosphere (especially after I'd harped on about how much better RL fans were than football fans )

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

Why not the boo's were for the same dumb defence that they could have looked at and sorted out a few minutes earlier, the boo's IMO weren't necessarily aimed at how bad in general the team are, (nobody really knew at that point?). Then to concede further tries to the exact same play time and time again I think the boo's were appropriate. FWIW I dont blame any of the players for the defeat as they simply aren't good enough - Crusaders could have put 50 on us! I do blame lack of organisation, go forward and effort, a tiny glimpse of that and the result could have been different. I believe that's the coaches/managers job to sort that out and its obvious they're not up to it, I think the boo's at the end of the game were aimed in that direction of disappointment rather than the team itself.
this will not be the end, or even the beginning of the end.
It is merely the end of the beginning

Do you think the new and/or young players (Ratchford, McGillvray, Smith, Holdsworth et al) saw it that way??
