i have read through all the topics calling for mcraes head and how terrible we played.

i havent seen one mention on how mcgilveray (spelling?) struggled all night, was it 4 or 5 tries that were a kick into his corner where he got out muscled every time?

also he was playing on the right, was he not playing on the left last year???



also we played the same old one man rugby when we needed to pull together as a team.

one posotive was holdsworth, but if we are going to utilise his genius we need more players to support him!!!!

I am sure most on here would agree with your assessment but the reason fans are having a go is he is payed to coach & any good coach would at least had a plan B.
simple things like putting pressure on the kicker! moving the ball into wider positions instead of up the middle, had a go at putting Holdsworth into the half back line to create more openings.
Instead plan A remains the same throughout the game, you could probably set your watch by his moves.

I think he could be a good player for us, but we have got to stop booing the players & get behind them before it is too late.
We are not going to be world beaters but I believe the team overall is better than Friday nights performance.

I totally agree thats what got my back up when things were going wrong nothing changed.In the warm up the players were shifting the ball about quite nicely but come game time it was back to one man rugby.Is this being coached or are the players reverting back to what they know rather than what they should be doing?
