As I asked last season (and the season we went down) could someone please tell me why the forwards aim at the biggest group of defenders when attacking and not for gaps?
Don't tell me it is to tire the defenders (substitution ruins that plan) nor tell me that the "ruck" is so disorganised we can cause a break (I've counted that result on one hand all last season).
Simple question.
Sad preacher nailed upon the coloured door of time;
Insane teacher be there reminded of the rhyme.
There'll be no mutant enemy we shall certify;
Political ends, as sad remains, will die.

So we're back in the same situation as we were before Karl Harrison got sacked?
I really don't get this whole attitude of players not wanting to play for the coach. Surely you play for the love of the game,because it's your job and because it matters to you how you're perceived as a player? It's what they're paid to do after all, for god's sake.

Here we go AGAIN!!!!! Now this really f**ks me off. The little children in the team decide they don't like McRae so decide not to play for him. How f**king dare they! It not only shows a huge disrespect to McRae ( even if he is a crap coach) but also to SJW and to us who pay to watch them. If they don't want to play for him then tell them to f**koff somewhere else.
This mentality is PATHETIC!

Round and round in loving circles nothing ever changes!!!, 3,400 fans which will be 2,400 home fans next home game, i 100% understand why the people who don't go choose not to, i can quite honestly say that is one of the worst performances Ive ever witnessed, Apart from Holdsworth not one player deserved to be on a winning side. I could go on all day slagging us of but ill save you the bother. I can now see why an outsider looking in at Salford would not want us getting a franchise, poop team, poop support who offer nothing but a laugh to the Rugby League.

I don't think that would be advisable. To be honest, I don't see what was to be gained from posting it in the first place. All it will probably really achieve is pissing people off even further.

Last night was my first game back after a season away, I brought my 3 yr old daughter and my niece to sample RL for the first time. How bored were they, apart from the obvious lack of passion and entertainment on the pitch, there was no atmosphere, the crowd was poor and just a general souless feeling about the place. Ive been a salford fan all my life and havent gone as much as I shouldve over the past few years but I can see why the crowds are dwindling season upon season. Dont get me wrong I dont have the answers, maybe the new stadium will help maybe it wont, but for a start youve got to look at your coach from the teams point of view how long do you have to put up with tactless play and poor results before you get sacked?

I don't suppose you had the balls to tell them what a ridiculous comment it was, and how they should be embarrassed about it did you?
Nah, didn't think so ...

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

Totally agree HR.
Pointless and v boring.
OK we have a small pack so why dont we have a coach who can instil players to run wide into gaps a la Reg Houldsworth last night - line deeper - so they are running on the ball. Our tactic should be to run the opposition forwards breathless rather than constant barging.
Its the Australian way though isnt it? Tedious fayre.

Agreed - this season, amazingly we have some pace in the backs so why oh why were we playing up the middle being outmuscled instead of swinging it wide?
