i hope he does, but for me he has to start coming onto the ball at pace, last night he was just walking the ball in.

Our second half performance was laughable at times, school boy errors galore!
The defence on our left hand side.... well lets be honest, what defence! I lost count how many times Welham got caught drifting in and it was a recipe for disaster with him and Dobson defending that side at times. And the chance where he offloaded the ball to Colbon, he had brike the the tackle enough to fall over the line himself. I know it sounds like a Welham bashing but he needs to improve cause for me when Ratu is fit he should replace him.
Some of the passing was shocking, and the unforced errors where a joke, Wigan didnt have to do much to win the game, we handed it to them in the second half.
I thought Ian Smith got most of the calls right but he allowed Wigan to lay on in the tackle a fraction longer than Rovers and IMO it made a difference. Plus is it only me who thought O'laughlin's try should never have been given?
Bad news about Briscoe and certainly changes will be needed next week.
Well I thought a few players stood out for us, Colbon worked his socks off and made some great yards in some difficult areas. Watts had a decent game and showed he has the talent, lasts nights game will have done him good, it was hard work in the middle of the park. Also Netherton deserves a mention, good yards and footwork at times.
Big improvemnt needed next week!

No, clearly offside, the ball came off Mossop's foot and Todd Flanders was a good half metre in front. A decision by Child that would appear to show he doesn't know the rules of the game that he's officiating.
We'd have still lost though so might as well get a bad decision over with.
Big Jase did indeed have some footwork, I was amazed, he nearly stepped someone in the second half!
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Out for Mrs Mild's birthday last night and I've got the game recorded - worth watching or shall I save myself the pain?

As a neutral I thought you were well beaten by Wigan.
What I couldn't understand was why you kept playing the inside pass running back into Wigans middle. Last year I thought your danger came from your centres and second rower(Newton, Galea) running wide at pace.
