Perhaps but they need players that will help them win NOW, not when they have sorted their heads out, which could take a while, they wont be winning the division again that easily next year IMO. They do need a couple of WRs but Matt Jones was terrible in Jacksonville so I cant see him doing much in Cincy.
I cant understand Pacman he has/had all the talent in the world but is just a dick when it comes to his off the field antics
As a Bengal fan i hope we sign TO, Matt Jones (we have signed him), Pacman
Bring them all in, i don't care about all this 'oh they were criminals lets not go near them.' Its pathetic
If those players can do a job for the team which all 3 of them could and can then they deserve there chance.
Its looking like an uncapped year so signings like this are nifty and smart by Mike and Marvin, its good motivation that we used all last year... a team of rejects that nobody wants. Well they didn't do too bad last season and i'm happy to add a few more of these rejects to the team if it helps to make the team that little bit better.
All these are low risk moves, if the guy screws up hes gone most likely out of the league so they are going to have a big drive to stay and play their hearts out each week.
Keep these signings happening Bengals and keep building a team without spending big..

TO would be good at Cinci i think along with Jones and the bloke with the stupid name that is already there. For me this is a decent short term upgrade. What is happening with Coles next year? I would not touch pacman with a barge pole im afraid.

Disagree about him. I've always been a fan of Matt Jones (admittedly he's done some stupid things), but he was pretty decent as a reciever for the Jags, he has the ability to be an excellent redzone target and showed some very good stuff considering he is a QB convert. Tebow will possibly have to do what Jones did and convert to a different position (TE for Tebow IMO).
The Bengals have no problem with signing idiots and criminals but they do a job for them, if Jones gets straightened out he could be very good. In the long term these kind of signing aren't good at all, but short term they may work.
Stick Tebow at linebacker (played there at some point, as well as TE, HB, QB) with his work rate, attitude & leadership (as well as size/weight) he would probably make a better fist of linebacker then QB in the NFL.

I suppose with Tebow it all depends were he ends up some teams will see him as being a project QB, some will want him to start straight away, some will want him in the wildcat, some will want him in another position and some will want to stay well away from him because hes rubbish and will take too much time/money to sort out for the NFL!

I hope New England are in the latter camp
Bill is too smart to take someone like Tebow, first 4 picks will be a pass rusher, running back, guard & defensive end.
Although I'd like to see him trade 47 & 53 + a 6th for #19 overall (Atlanta) then take Spiller (RB) at 19, Dunlap (DE/OLB) at 22 and Maukice Pouncey (OG/C) at 42, 3 players who could start week 1 and make a difference.
