Apart from the boys from South Wales having to travel further I can't really see too many problems with the move to Wrexham. Thankfully I live in mid Wales and therefore pretty much halfway between north and south so the travelling doesnt cause a problem for me. I actually think i would sooner travel to Wrexham than Bridgend or Newport, the Racecourse is a far better place to watch rugby than the Brewery Field or Rodney Parade. It's obviously closer to the clubs we will be playing against (apart from Harlequins and from what I've read they don't really bring travelling supporters anyway!) so we should get more away supporters than the South Wales venture did. The pubs are better in Wrexham than Newport or Bridgend. Plenty of on street parking at Wrexham. I cant think of anything that Newport or Bridgend had better than Wrexham.
Hope it catches on in Clwyd!

Several years of history, the supporters that built the club, a lot of supporting clubs, an academy and the plans of at least one big name union player to switch codes.
Still, not here to troll. Good luck with what exists now.
Might I suggest though that you Northern Crusaders fans get travelling? From what I heard it was the Southern supporters that went to Wigan. These clubs are on your doorstep in a way they never were for us down South, go enjoy them.

Good point. Nearer to Warrington so less travelling for me when we play at your ground!
Parry Gordon's passes,Les Boyd's strong runs,Mike Gregory's workrate,Des Drummond's tries,Jonathan Davies' sheer genius...........oh,and Alan Rathbone's punches! All memories of the legendary venue which was Wilderspool stadium. Gone maybe, but never, ever forgotten.

I'm looking forward to visiting your ground. Never been there before but it looks a great stadium on telly. Hope we put up a better fight than the boys from London did last weekend!

Our grounds overrated. It's rubbish actually, no atmosphere. That should of been a hundred on sunday, we had the ref tackling for gods sakes The move north for Crusaders could end up being a masterstroke, we'll see. Such a shame for guys like Grendel though, even if he is a moaning bugger :p

The away end has great acoustics but the rest of the ground... The Wire fans get on my nerves too, maybe it's me getting old but its the same chant accompanied by that annoying drum over n over again, quietly

Quote:Crusaders fans will want clarification over the club’s future after new owner Geoff Moss threatened to quit Wrexham FC because of abuse from fans. Moss led a consortium to buy the Crusaders franchise from previous owner Leighton Samuel and moved the club from Bridgend to the Racecourse Ground. Moss is the majority shareholder in Wrexham FC and invested more than £4 million of his own money to help save the club after it went into administration five years ago. He says he will make his position clear after discussing the issue with fellow directors next Wednesday. “There comes a point when you think, ‘Do I need this any more?’” said Moss. “The answer is, ‘I don’t think so’.”
