All of us have learnt from our collective experiences and ensured everything possible has been done to get our overseas signings here for pre season. FC clearly communicated that advisors were being engaged to smooth the process and so it came to pass that O'Meley and Fitz were here in mid November. Clinton was released by Broncos 11 weeks ago having requested the release to join Rovers, which his agent has publicly confirmed, (and Hudgell has said he's coming in The Guardian). Delude yourself that Rovers have somehow "saved face" on this one if it makes you feel better, but TBH the length of visa delay and the random and contradictory messages (Morgan saying he's not signed but Rovers would be interested if he became available - when he's already been released, Hudgell saying he's coming but is awaiting his visa) coming out of Craven Park are hardly convincing evidence that Rovers have executed this signing professionally.
