Maybe i'm not using him right, i don't know but so far he's not impressed me. I've got him winger attacking, i would have thought that's what he would have been best at. TBH, Bentley hasn't been an awful lot better, so it's going to be a tough decision, but i don't need both of them.

I find 'normal' wingers don't perform with 'attacking' as their responsbility. I have found that those settings work better with AML/R/FC players like Messi, Van Persie and Jovetic etc who can also play up front.

I use Jovetic and Jerez as 'inside forward/attack' at home and 'winger/support' away. They are both around 7.60 average ratings, plenty off assists and Jovetic is on 12 goals in my current season and I've not reached Christmas.

Rooney has 16 in 9, that'll shut those Arsenal fans up a little I hope. :SUBMISSION:

But I'm getting annoyed with weak teams coming back against me. I was 3-0 up at Everton after 83 minutes, finished 3-3 with three Yakubu penalties, all from long balls miraculously brought down and stupid challenges. Even more frustrating is that none of the culprits had instructions to tackle hard, mark tightly etc. Next game I was 3-0 up at home to Sunderland after 74 minutes and lost 4-3 with 2 penalties and two 35 yard screamers. I've tried going counter attacking, tried leaving it, tried playing possession, tried throwing on extra defensive players but every time I get a lead against a mid table side the goals start flooding in like an irresistable force.

Penalties are another strange one on this version. I've conceded 14 in 18 games, all have been scored. I lost on penalties to Stockport in the league cup 12-11 only to be put through into the next round :?

I have Jovetic and I've never been able to use him that well. Every now and then he'd turn it on, but I've found Hazard to be superior. Have you retrained any of Jovetic's PPM's?

I play him as an inside forward on the AML position, but he just never seemed to cut it.

I have both Hazard and Jovetic at Tottenham and so far, Jovetic has been much better than Hazard.

I'll try that with Lennon and see what how it goes in the remaining games. If i'm honest, i've struggled to get the best out of both Lennon and Bentley so far this season, i've been rotating the two with occasionally throwing Modric on the right.

On the topic of penalties, that happened to me a few times on older versions, were i would lose on Penalties, only to be put through anyway, but i can't say i've come across it so far on 2010.

Managed to scrape 4th positions, despite not in the best of the form finishing the season. I drew to Everton, which left the game with Chelsea massive and i managed to draw, which left Arsenal in pole position to get 4th, however, they had to play United and i played City. I won 3-1 and Arsenal lost 1-0, so that put me back in the lead with just 2 games to go with games against Wigan and Stoke remaining, i won both games comfortably, and got the last champions league spot. Its been a very, very good season, but next season i have gone for title challenge, so we must deliver.

Due to me deciding we are capable of challenging for the title next season, i am going to be making a few changes to the squad, and quite big changes too. I'm looking to offload Kranjcar (I am looking for £10million, and i have just accepted a bid from Napoli of that amount), Huddleston, O'Hara and Dos Santos are also hopefully going to leave to give me some more money on top of the £27million i have been given by the board.

I have also decided to keep both Lennon and Bentley as both started to play pretty well towards the back end of the season so i will see how they start the new season. With the money i will have, i will be looking to bring in a versatile defender that is fairly cheap but will prevent the same thing happening at the start of last season when i got numerous injuries in defence and was lacking cover. I will also be looking for a top defensive midfielder. Apart from that, i am very happy with my squad. I have the likes of Jovetic and Hazard on the left who are very young. I recently signed Kadlec who only played 4 games and scored in all 4, so can't complain. I also have Buonanotte who played very, very well last season keeping Modric out for a good run of games, although the younger players didn't play all that many games so i will be looking to bring these in a lot more this season as they have huge potential.

The new season is about to start and i have been drawn against AS Monaco in the Champions League qualifier, i'm confident of beating them.

Transfers Out:

Niko Kranjcar (£10million), Tom Huddlestone (£7.5million), Jamie O'Hara (£2.5million), Kyle Naugthon (£7.5million).

Transfers In:

Miguel Veloso (£20million), Joao Moutinho (£22.5million), Franco Zucilini (£15million), Yoann Gourcuff (£19.5million).

I have also loaned out Dos Santos for the season as i feel he has some potential but will not be a first regular this season. Also, I am expecting to see the back of Diarra.

So, my team is as follows:

Gomes

Srna
Dawson
King
Bassong

Gourcuff (Right winger)
Veloso (Defensive midfielder)
Jovetic (Left winger)

Modric (Advanced play maker)

Keane
Defoe

Subs:

Woodgate
Palacios
Moutinho
Buonanotte/Hazard
Bentley/Lennon
Pavlyuchenko
Crouch

Back-up:

Cudicini
Assou-Ekotto
Bale
Hutton
Diarra (Transfer listed)
Zuculini (Under 20)
Lennon/Bentley
Hazard/Buonanotte
Kadlec (Under 20)
Verratti (Under 20)

I have numerous options in every position and i competed very well in every compeition last season, and i am involved in an additional competition (providing i qualify) this season in the shape of the Champions League, so i will be looking to rotate my squad quite a lot through-out the season and also looking to use the youngsters a lot more that i didn't use so much last season.

Why did you sell Naughton? He always turns out to be one of the better right backs on the game, and he's English which always helps with the rulings.

Just completed my first season with OM, was a bit strange at first seems I know nothing about Ligue 1 and only a few of the OM players, won the league with a game to spare and lost in the French cup final (Lyon) and CL quarter final (Juve) made an astounding 72m profit on the year though meaning I can bolster the rather dodgy looking back 4 (Heinze is the 2nd best player in it  )

He was unhappy and at the minute, he wasn't going to get first team football. I thought £7.5million was a good enough offer, so took the money. I also needed the money to fund other transfers.

I looked into getting him a loan, but he rejected a few different clubs saying he didn't want to go there (Championship clubs), so i didn't want him to upset the harmony of the team.

I wanted a challenge as a lower league English club, so I started a game as Carlisle United. They have a decent squad that I can build on over the years. I'll update on my progress.
