Perhaps Rovers were not made aware that it was a case of a missing bank statement. Sounds to me like a simple case of the player making a mistake and then taking the necessary steps to rectify it. However, there's so much conflicting 'information' going around who knows what to believe?

I'd assume its more Clinton says he'll be employed by rovers, Imigration then ask rovers to confirm, and rovers say "Yup, its true" (thus supporting his application). Nothing to do with proof reading it atall.

As Rovers are a registered sponsor they should be aware of how to get visas and what their duties are, even in a vague way. My question was why are they making Clinton supply bank statements to confirm his funds, when they can confirm this on his behalf so he doesn't have to. Are Rovers not aware of what their immigration licence entails?????

If the player has to submit proof of savings rather than earnings that is a matter for the player. I know it fits your agenda to make this out to be the club's fault but the fact is at the moment it's pure speculation.

Ahh, agendas and speculation. You'll be expecting someone to start an totaly unfounded and baseless petition next.

You work in this area and can be considered something of an expert. You will work and spend much of your time with other experts - this can distort your perception of what is a normal level of understanding of this area of knowledge. From the outside looking in, the fact that a profession has grown up to offer advice on applications suggests to me that the process is possibly excessively complicated.

The difference being sharp was a crap coach and played players in position they were useless in (Briscoe on the wing being the point in duscussion) wereas Morgan has more of an astute eye for where players have potential. Ie Fitzhery at hooker, Lovegrove into the forwards etc.

Did you hear Briscoe on KCFM last night? he got asked about playing in other positions, his response was "Yeah i got played on the wing for a few games while I was at Hull F.C, but I didn't really like it, just ask Rhys Lovegrove"
