Great isn't it? Every time Manning loses in the playoffs, he chokes, yet every time Brady does, its always someone elses fault!
Would this discussion even be happening if Garcon caught that pass and the Colts went 17-3 up?
Manning showed how good he is by pulling the Colts out of very bad situations this season, and in the AFC title game, Jets clearly on top? He marches the Colts downfield in a minute, just like that. Thats not choking.

Leading the stat book every year doesnt mean a thing if you dont have the hardware to back it up at the end of the year!!
All the records Brady/ Moss got in 07 would be swapped in an instant for a win in the SB I can guarantee it.
I can understand people saying that our D was better so we had a better chance but thats what a team is all about, we sacrificed having "top" recievers to upgrade our D, until 07 when we got Moss and Welker(who btw no-one had heard of outside Miami and San Diego) we didnt have top recieveres like Marvin Harrison, Dallas Clarke, Reggie Wayne. With an offence like Indys they knew they had to put up points to help their Defense, but whos fault is it that Indy hired a defensive coach in Tony Dungy to upgrade it and he didnt make it better, they just concentrated on the Offence instead IMO
Not to mention we seem to lose coaches and co-ordinatars every year, If Indy lose Howard Mudd and Tom Moore it will be the first time Manning has had a new OC in his career and OL coach in 12 years, Im sure he will cope with it but it will be a telling time for me.
So, on that basis, Marino is crap? Favre is average?
Bear in mind, in 2006 Harrison was at the end of his career, Wayne was only just maturing. Clark is class though, but any good team has a class TE.
And Manning won't be bothered, at the most he and the new OC/OL coaches will need to gel is the preseason.

No but: 2 picks against the Ravens pick 6 in the Superbowl 3 picks in the 06 championship game, rescued by his D losing to the Chargers in OT last year .500 record in playoffs
Manning is a good player but he does seemingly collapse in the playoffs.

Im saying that in the playoffs hes a choker when it comes to the big games IMO, I have never said hes a bad player only that IMO stats dont mean feck all when you dont have the SBs to back them up.
Its also my opinion that I would have Brady over Manning as it is yours Manning over Brady, whats so wrong with that?
Going from stats Manning is a mile better than Brady but I dont care about stats I care about winning important games and the ultimate goal is to win the SB, Im pretty sure Marino, Favre and even Manning amongst many others would swap their stats for a few extra chances at winning the big one! and if they say otherwise they are lieing
Manning still has a good few years to add to his but he needs to take that chicken bone out of his throat

Last season they were really bad but as the Bengals showed you can go from bad to good with a few shrewd decisions.Bringing Zimmer in transformed the Bengals D and I think bringing in Weis and Crennel to run the O and the D also bringing in HOF Emmitt Thomas to coach the D backs will be a huge improvement to what they had this year. The Chiefs wont win the division next year but they won't be picking #1 either.
