The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

As for Webster at 6 if you didnt go today then you missed exactly what he is capable of. I dont know anyone who left Craven Park today not confident both Cooke and Webster will produce the goods at 6 and 13 respectively.

Webster doesnt need to be able to kick we have Dobson, Cooke, Galea, Murrell and Fisher that are all more than capable of putting the kicking duties in and by the looks of it Cooke got his hands on the ball a lot more than normal today and it did not effect Dobsons all round game.

He had 13 on is back but he didn't play like a forward, in fact he didn't even line up there most of the time. He acted as an extra pivot. Him on the left, Smith on the right and Horne drifting around and supporting the ball.

A useful alternative or something with long-term potential?

And so whats so different about Cooke playing there for Rovers? Galea will be an extra pivot if played too. Cook to be fair is 100kg and runs like it this season. He's not such a slouch as many think either watch the Salford break away try and look who's quite close in the chase back. I hope we stick with this tactic for a good 5-10wks at least and when Galea is fit maybe use Cook off the bench and stick with the SL Dream Team second row pairing with Cooke rounding the pack off?

We're coming to make some noise!

Cookie played exactly as he could have done at 6 for the last two years if allowed, what massive difference did been 13 make , he took the stand offs role anyway, Jake played more as a roving loose man, will be interesting what Morgs does when Galea returns....???? Will be a shame if he is allowed to force Cookie out of the club.....we have no chance of getting a better English, indeed Hull, born playmaker in the team for a good few years...the guy just wants a chance to enjoy his rugby, which he looked to be doing for the first time in a while yesterday...

Because at Hull he was a ball player and not expected to do the hard graft like Justin wants him to. I might be proven wrong I just think he'll be ineffective when played as a runner against better sides. Has he bulked up at all in the off season?

I don't see why Paul Cooke can be regarded as ineffective as a runner. Apart from the tries he creates with his kicks and superb passes he's bagged a few for himself by powering through where a try seemed highly unlikely. Added to that he looks fitter than at any time since he joined us.

He's a ball player at Rovers it's just he's not the only one. I had an argument with a couple of your fans on here last week when i said Cooke was a more complete player now than he was when at Hull.

I think his performance on Sunday backs my point up.

Without doubt, he was excellent, but I suppose the key is whether he can maintain or even improve on that form throughout the season. With Dobson in the side, we can certainly get more out of Cooke playing at 13, but the big question is; will he stay there when Galea is fit?

I'd go with what others are saying and spell Galea and Newton in the second row with Matt Cook, but when fit, Chev Walker looked very good there last year too.

It's funny how people think our achilles heel will be lack of squad depth. Just signing Cook, Ratu and Hodgson seems to have given us a wealth of options for most positions.

He could play prop and still have a good game, the guy is a monster.
