Yes but it's the detrimental effect on the points scored, which against the poor sides like Salford and Hull FC we need to capitalise on. At the end of the season in the shake up with the better sides it may prove vital.

Of no concern to me. Our season will have been over 5 months ago.

Morgan is like one of those people who veer between genius and madness, capable of some great things, yet some rank awful ones as well..
I await Sunday with interest, but have been watching RL more than long enough to realise Jake will never make a stand off as long hes got the proverbial....has not increased my optimism for our chances this season at all..
Still of the same opinion? Perhaps Jake will have trouble on the pot tonight?
Yes, still of the same opinion, Jake never really had to get his hands too dirty with Cooke dominating like he did. A reasonable win against poor opposition doesnt really tell us a great deal about the season ahead, and think there is some over excitement and over reading of the game..
One thing we do know is that Rovers are going to be competitive and have a good spirit, but the real test will come against quality oppostion when our pack is on the back foot...

Far comment. I'm not in the "over excited" camp as I thought we should have gone on to put 50+ on them after such a fantastic start. The signs were encouraging, no more. However, Jake at SO gave us options which never existed last season. I'm looking forward to him running at Tompkins on Friday night.

it was an encouraging start i thought, could have scored more yes, but it was the first proper game, Salford would have fancied there chances seeing how we hadnt gone well pre season, but i agree with the above, Wigan and Hudds will be sterner tests, but lets see how we do before writing the team off already.....
