Bolton Mets v Bury Broncos Newton Storm v Hindley St Helens Wild Boar v Rochdale Cobras Westhoughton Lions v Chorley Panthers Wigan Bulldogs v Eccleston Lions
Bury played our 2nd team on saturday and they looked a much improved side, they even kept calm against some of our very old heads.....and seeing that bolton gave our 1sts the game on saturday i think Bury will take em!!!!!!

Agree with them all apart from Bolton v Bury, i reckon Bolton will just edge it.
Anyone know how Newton's pitches are? Getting sick of this F00king weather!

We've selection headaches for the first time at Bury...squad is bigger than before and all but 2 available i think, unlike before XMas where we didnt have much of the pack available. a few to come back in who sat out the weekend friendly so i think we're confident we will give Bolton a game. I'll stick my neck out and agree with Ben's predictions...
again had 8 missing for the wild boar game but im happy with the lads that played!! had 6 lads in from the 2nd team....they wont be in the 2nd team next week!!!!!
Top lads St helens!!!!! shame we couldnt of stayed for a big drink....sorry boys!!!!
Well, from a Bury perspective we were shiiiiite. Started cold, couldn't tackle, all went wrong and we let Bolton's big lads run riot. Terrible. Our worst game of the year. Improved for the 2nd half but the game was well lost.
Big win for Hindley, and well done to Westhoughton (Watty!) and Wigan, some good wins there.

Yesterday was Eccleston's worst performance of the season so far, nothing seemed to click for us. The game started off bad after winning a drop out from the kick off we knocked on with the first pass, add to this the fact that there was a massive kit clash which the ref didn't seem to care about despite it being brought to his attention at least 5 times, we ended up turning our shirts inside out after about 20 minutes, although this should have been done by the home team.
But, credit where it's due Bulldogs played some good rugby and scored some very good tries and deserved the win.
