Just took the Brazil job following the 2010 World Cup, also won the league with United. I'm not sure what formation to play with as Brazil. I'm considering 5-4-1 with really attacking wing backs, or maybe 4-3-2-1, or even 4-3-3. Any ideas ?

Well that didn't last long. After failing to make the World Cup final, losing to Spain 2-1 in the Semis I have been sacked by Brazil after 3 games in charge. Ah well ...
I think I took the Brazil job too early, I'll take the next international job that comes up, as long as it's expectations aren't too great and they are a decent team, and try to build on them.

Sat in 12th at the half way stage of the season. W 8, D 2, L 9 P26 GD -13. Reasonably pleased as it has become obvious to me that the Wigan strike force is quite simply not up to task in the premiership. Working hard to get a striker to get me 15 a season, I signed Fonseca for 750k. He has hit me 5 so far and is doing well as a target man when i play the bigger teams. Scharner is leaving in the january window. It was either lose him for nothing in the summer or get £4mil for him in January. Smiljanic is coming in as his replacement for £2.9mil.
High point has been a 2-1 victory over Spurs at the DW as most of my points have been accumulated against the bottom 5-6. Goal is to stay out of the relegation fight and try inch towards mid table before some more rebuilding in the off season
A run of 10 games without a win (mainly high scoring draws) has seen me slip from 7th to 12th. Had to sell Rodallega to QPR for £10m (couldn't turn that down) but then I turned down offers for Steven Taylor and N'Zogbia and they got a tad upset.
Signed Ondřej Mazuch from Fiorentina who is a RB or CB and got a few irons in the fire for a new striker. Hoping that I can start to turn draws into wins and end the season well.
Not sure whether I want to restart when the patch comes through as I'm building a half decent side.
Only really sold Anderson. Berba on loan at Marseille. Ji-Sung Park out on loan somewhere. Good squad and great depth (loanees can be recalled)
Good team but slightly overpaid for Dzeko, I usually pick him up for 5m upfront + 20m over 48 months, I'd also look into Neuer/Lloris/Akinfeev because VDS wont last too long.
Kadlec is also a brilliant buy, young striker got 57 goals for me in his first season at Rangers along with 30 assists.

Cheers, its the first time i've bought him so didn't know the going rate. He's got 9 in 6 for me so far. Aye i was looking at a new keeper but just wasn't in the mood for searching. I'll get one in Jan.
Will look into Kadlec. 57 goals is a great return!

I'm Sheffield Wednesday. I did realise it would take me a few seasons to gain the club into any sort "potential big club status" again, so I've constructed my tactics and got an half decent assistant manager with excellent motivational attributes, and I go on holiday from time to time to try and speed my progress up so I can finally get into the premier league.
I've just consolidated the club and stuck with youngsters. In the running of the club, I have spent 250K on players in total, and made around 10million in players sold. I do however when selling players make sure I get 50% of the next fee when the player is sold bu the buying club.
I'm in December 2013 and after seasons of finishing mid-table, I'm finally seeing myself challenging into the play offs.
If I say so myself, I'm building the club into the most well run club in British Football. The training facilities are fantastic, youth facilities are getting upgraded, and the stadium is now 45,000 capacity. I've managed to keep my weekly salary around 30K less than my budget will allow, and if that world class player does come along, I have money in reserve. From when I took over, the club had around 4 million, but I have got rid of the deadwood, bought in many frees and also I bring 4 loanees in each season. As I am progressing and trying to build a dynasty however, I would prefer most my players in key positions to be contracted to the club, although I have to do what is best for the club financially.
On the playing side, I think this season I will come just short but I've got Anichibe (sp) on a free and hopefully next season with a few new experience faces to blend in with the promising youngsters and potential wonderkids, I will be looking for promotion. I will however be very stingent when I do get into the premierleague and expect to get relegated straight after, but my players should benefit from the experience and then bounce straight back up, and then hopefully that season they fair better.
