That could happen I guess it depends on how much clubs devote to developing young players. There will definately be a premium on British players.
I think what we might see is some teams that have well developed youth structures building teams around a few high quality imports and a higher number (than we see now) of younger players signed up to relatively low contracts. Other teams (with less developed youth structures) will be primarily journeymen British players.
