And you would travel to Coventry to watch them as you currently do ?

Yeah right

Seeing you cannot spell Wigan then why try and reply Warriors ia the super league tag added on Celtic was the super league tag added on.

And yes i would travel as it would still be the same club.

I could understand your argument if the club had been called Bridgend or even South Wales but it was not so had no location in its title i know this could be a little hard for you to understand but it is fact get over it and go back to your own little club. That should by the way be playing in Championship 1 this year stones and glass houses.

If my team moved 180 miles or even 20 miles to another location i would not see it as my club.Your team is in the town or city you play in to be honest. It is not rocket science.I feel for grendel even though i think they took my teams franchise spot. This game of rugby league is becoming a joke, and i am actually thinking all heartland clubs should break away from superleague poop.Fax,leigh, widnes, barrow etc have no chance of top flight rugby with the rfl in charge. The way it is going is a farce, with no incentives for championship teams.Fans are losing faith in championship clubs and prefer watch football.Grendel dont worry mate i have lost faith in the rfl and with no promotion and relegation is the biggest joke ever.

The team you support is your own choice it matters not if its 1 mile away or 200 miles away Wigan have supporters in London i was talking to a Leeds supporter that lived in Birmingham and had done all his life. This club was started in South Wales it fulfilled all the criteria for a franchise spot so how you can say it took your teams i dont know i dont agree with the decision not to remove 1 super league team and bring 3 new ones in but that was the decision of the RFL and we have to live with it.
For this great game to grow it needs to expand it cannot just live in the heartlands. We need to be exposed to a wider audience.
I personally think we should have Super league 1 and super league 2 both with 10 to 12 full time pro teams with the top 2 from SL2 being promoted and bottom 2 of SL1 going down the cap should be £2 million for SL1 and £1.6 million for SL2 and a limit of no more than 8 overseas players in any squad. That would then help to bring on our national squads. There are lots of things wrong with the way the game is run but until the RFL have a big clear out and put in people that can bring us to the next level then we have to put up with it

Touchy about our little joke are we ?

The same club ? , dont be bloody stupid , so are you suggesting that any club could change it's name to something obscure , like ' The Titans ' and then play anywhere in the world , and still remain the same club ?

And yes you are correct we should be in Championship 1 this season , unfortunatley it was taken out of our hands

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

My club has moved to Wrexham, they had no chioce, no one in South Wales wanted to help us.

I am unhappy but I still have my season ticket and will travel to all matches, but then i used to travel home and away last season.
As Ben Flower said in the paper on Saturday (Daily Post i think), "I'm sure the loyal South Wales supporters will travel and support the club they love".
Too bloody right, they are still our club.

No club ever keeps the same players or coaching staff for an indefinite amount of time and if we did, we would be wooden spoon holders again this season.

I agree with some of the things you say. Spread the game with superleague 1 and 2.I support widnes and i feel annoied we did not get a franchise.I am sure if cas, wakey, salford etc where kicked out they be complaining. The sport is getting bitter now, and i think to make fair they should always have promotion and relegation. We get told get a youth set up, and have to have 8 players in your squad.Other teams like fax dont have 8 players and if we do not get a franchise, we be better not having a youth set up.What annoys me the rfl are not fair.Out of 8 players of youth you be lucky 2 or 3 are good enough. My opinion is football and rugby union are national sports and league will not take over from it.To be honest if widnes moved to birmingham i would never go to watch them. Some people would but not as many as been in the same town.

Debatable. The old club under Turner had a track record for spinning the truth as you well know. I'd imagine that the new club under Turner may well use the same model for obfuscation.

celticcrusader wrote:I am unhappy but I still have my season ticket and will travel to all matches, but then i used to travel home and away last season.

Yep I recall you did. If you're happy with this new club, then great.

celticcrusader wrote:As Ben Flower said in the paper on Saturday (Daily Post i think), "I'm sure the loyal South Wales supporters will travel and support the club they love".

Well if Ben Flower said it, then it MUST be true. It's his accurate assessments of people he's known for after all! This new club may well be YOUR club. I couldn't possible agree that they're mine.

celticcrusader wrote:No club ever keeps the same players or coaching staff for an indefinite amount of time and if we did, we would be wooden spoon holders again this season.

But most of them at least keep the same colours, name, home and supporters.
what makes you think that you WON'T be wooden spoon holders this season? The CELTIC Crusaders did better in their first away match to Leeds AND their first home match against 'ull FC.

Anger. Just anger. The lover Moss stole my club and moved it up North.

It looks like it might, MIGHT prove a success with a large crowd (that DID contain thousands of kids - but should not be diminished as a result of that) like the one against Leeds. It looks like it might go on to bigger and better things.

But it is STILL a club he stole. To buy the club and let it play in its natural home is one thing. To up sticks, say f u c k you to the supporters that were loyal for the previous 5 years and f u c k off 150 miles away is moral theft if it is not legal theft.

So just anger. Possibly some hatred as well.

Not fear. Why would I "fear" the Wrexham Crusaders? I've been abandoned by "my" club. What more can these new pretenders do?

Not jealousy. I don't envy the Wrexham Crusaders supporters because I detest their club. Why would I be jealous about not being involved in what I detest.

Purely anger.

I won't lie. I hope they collapse. I hope that just for once in an arbitrary, amoral universe the dirty dealers get just what they deserve. I am realistic enough to know that there is no such thing as justice (natural or otherwise). But I still hope for it.

SCREW the Wrexham Crusaders.
it was only anger that was aimed at you grendel.fwiw mate if my club ever moved, merged or was took over by another club it would never be my club again.if this project works in wrexham & the scorpions grow to a level were they are good enough & welsh enough to apply for a SL license then i think that would be fantastic for RL in general.as for jealousy thats aimed at quinns based in one of the biggest citys in the world and can still only muster 3000 home fans when this new club on the borders of the heartlands brings in 10500.as for fear, how many SL clubs are praying wrexham go tits up?

To Grendel

Just out of curiosity, if Leighton Samuel had been successful in moving Crusaders to Newport, which is about 30 miles away I think, would you have still supported them?
