A decision has been made by TNA and Spike TV to move TNA iMPACT! permanently to Monday nights, reports the The Wrestling Observer. The second Monday night iMPACT! is scheduled to air on March 1 following the success of the first Monday iMPACT! on January 4.
The March 1 episode will air at 9:00 p.m. EST, but the official weekly timeslot has not been confirmed yet. The likely taping schedule will be live on Mondays one week, then tape the following week's iMPACT! the next day on Tuesdays.
Being live every other week will be great for TNA in terms of cutting down on spoilers, plus being side by side improves both companies.
On the point about TNA bringing in old guys from the past, I HATE The Nasty Boys. Find the characters to be so irritating, an "Ok i'm going to turn the channel over now" type of irritating.
I haven't watched an episode of iMPACT since the live special so I shouldn't really comment on them, but I really don't see why they would have any desire put these guys on TV, do people really want to see them?

No, but that doesn't matter. They're mates with Hogan so they get TV time at the expensive of younger, fitter talent. Just like when Hogan went to WCW.

Of course he hasn't. In his mind he's the greatest wrestler whoever lived. He's the reason for wrestling existing. I'm just amazed he isn't already TNA champ.

Anybody going to the TNA show tomorrow night in Manchester? I'm on row G in block F. God I hope this is worth the money. It will be my very first TNA live event.
Also on the topic of Hogan learning; I think he has, he is not booking himself as the number one draw, as really I think he knows he just cant wrestle any more. On the other hand he is still bringing his cronies in with him, Jimmy Hart & Honky Tonk Man are said to be the next influx of Hogan clingers to join up. If he could just use his star power for the good of the company and not the good of his clique TNA would be on to a winner. Oh and bring in Jim Cornette as head booker. Though I doubt Jimmy would work with Bischoff again.
