I was dissapointed that the fringe players didn't grab an opportunity to show the coach they are up for the job. I'm disappointed that Jake got yet another injury, but not down-heartened until I hear of the extent of it. I'm disappointed that we don't appear to learn as the game goes on that the ref is going to ping us for minor infringements - the better sides learn and stop repeating the same mistakes.
All pre-season has always been geared to Thursday's game, but even if we lose that one (and extend our monumental losing streak!
) I'm only concerned when points are at stake.
Lose on Feb 7th and I will be leaden-hearted, until then I'm watching training sessions.
Oh, and just for Digger - Fev played well and deserve huge credit.
Pretty fair summary. Cooke was dire, would expect a lot more from him.
