10:43 - Cllr garrido asking about the reds stadium
10:50 - Stadium will not be owned by the reds.
10:51 - Only premier league (sic) club in city, john merry says we should support them wherever possible
11:00 - Cllr karen garrido so stressed out about the stadium she knocks over the microphone
11:06 - Lots of chat about the stadium. Well done to men media colleague neal keeling for breaking the story
11:09 - Cllr les turner says newspapers not interested in printing the truth but print whatever they want.
11:13 - Cllr lancaster says stadium finances must stack up before we make the decision
11:16 - Lots to report on stadium
11:30 - Nature called and we're STILL talking about the stadium.
12:45 - Interesting. Bill hinds says council made a short term loan to the reds before but then swiftly stopped by Cllr Lancaster.

I expect we'll be hearing more on this.

We need to start getting supporters to these meetings.

But that might lead to an outbreak of informed opinions on here instead of the oh-so-entertaining theories plucked out of people's ar$e$... :(

I see Councillor Greedio is still against it, Councillor lancaster talking about costs all adding up, also noticed the MEN back slapping Keeling for breaking the story all he did was cut and paste the Salford star story, money for old rope.

It's interesting how few replies a post gets when it contains actual real stuff rather than conjecture.

I also found this while rummaging round on the net. So the remediation and roads have been given the go ahead subject to final clearance by the Assistant Director Planning and Transport Futures and the Chair of the Planning and Transportation Regulatory Panel, whoever they are and whenever that is.

Seems to be very little actual good news in amongst all that, Garrido needs to be shunned by everyone who has even the slightest bit of pride in Salford the club and Salford the city as a whole.

is Garrido anything to do with the estate agents??

Isnt that a crying shame then

Would be wondeful if she had other business ventures we could put the mockers on and see how she likes being screwed over. Just out of interest is there any clue what she would have the land or the money earmarked to help the club for?? I would express what i'm thinking but think i'd get booted in record time.

If anything, it shows that this stadium, which people still seem to state is never going to happen and was just a lie concocted to get us a franchise, is subject to lengthy discussion at the main meeting of the City council.
