I'd be amazed if some body with the level of professionalism that Fitzgibbon appears to have was a flop.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
I thought Fitzgibbon showed signs of his class on Sunday and will go well for FC provided he stays healthy.
I agree with most on here, Newton would be snapped up in the blink of an eye by FC and probably any other superleague club if they could fit him in the cap / quota.

Your right, but there have been lots of BIG names who don't shine in SL, nothing to do with him playing for FC, he might become the best import ever, lets see how he goes.

Silly boy.
The stats clearly show that Murrell isn’t a poor tackler at all. The only reason he misses the amount of tackles that he does is due to the high number of tackles he attempts.

Understand now bro?
Not really no
does that mean that alker, luke adamson and luke swain (3 of the top 5 tacklers) where miles better at tackling last season?

Clubfoot, I know your only after a bite but what those stats posted show is that a work horse like Radford who is seen as a tackler rather than a runner but his average missed tackles was greater than Murrells but I doubt you'd say Radford was a poor defender?

You can work it out yourself by calculating the percentage of successful tackles, surely a better measure than a simple number of tackles made or missed.

I'm not after a bite.
The stats posted show that the hull players %'s were poor last season so I was showing that whilst murrells stats are better than hull players last season it not as great as some believe
