You mean in terms of actual rugby or just winding up opposition players/fans?!

Bias has nowt to do with it with me, I think Colbon is a better alround player than Calderwood. I would have Berrigan over any of our hookers and Briscoe (as a centre) over Welham. You have a few players who I would like in a Rovers shirt at the expense of some of ours, but Calderwood isn't one of them.

I wasn't talking about just your fans being biased, all fans are biased towards their own players to some respect. Even last year when you were having a great season I would have been able to count on one hand the players from you that I would want at Hull. If the roles are reversed this year and we are at the top you will probably say the same thing. Personally I think Calderwood is everything you could ask from a winger and is well suited to our side. Very fast, reasonably good in the air, bags of enthusiasm and energy, we don't really need a winger who can come and help the forwards out because the forwards are very strong this year (although Briscoe is like another forward when he carries it in). You on the other hand don't have such a big pack and so Fox and Colbon are expected to carry the ball alot.

The only players I would take from your squad becasue I believe they would improve us are:

Fox (competing with Calderwood for right centre spot)
Dobson (back up for Long/ competing with Horne for stand off)
Galea (ahead of Tickle)
Murrell (good utility value)

You have plenty of good players but I don't think they would either be suited to us or be better than what we've got.

Briscoe at FB (you know you would over Tansey), and however much you dislike him because he's God to us Rovers fans; Clint Newton (best SR in the comp last year speaks for itself).

They got rid of Briscoe because he's rubbish

I'd have Newton over there 2nd rows (Fitzgibbon was class, but lets see how he goes) anyday.

True but top performers in the NRL are not automatically a success in the British game.
