another derailed thread from an outsider asking a serious question about Colbon.... gotta love this place! hehe.
DA - me personally didnt think that much to him when he 1st came over - proved me wrong through the middle of last season and i think he is really under-rated; which is good for us!
P.s. would take him over calderwood every single day of the week... esp after what he did after the final whistle yesterday

Do you mean the perfectly legal tackle he put in after the hooter but before the whistle? Just after the ref told all the players to play on as the play hadn't been completed?
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

I would not swap him for Calderwood even if he came with a couple of hundred grand as a sweetner!!!![/quote]
Think you may be letting personal rivalry get in the way there...you are joking surely.
Maybe about the 200k, but I would much rather have Colbon, he has a lot more to him than Calderwood. One thing with Colburn, he will get into the thick of it no matter how rough its getting, he won't wait until its all over and your backs turned.

I take you booed Newton for his late shot on long then?
Why would i do that, he didnt hit him whilst he was already down - he put him down hard that all; Just like 1 of yours did to Dobbo.
If its during the game and its a fight or big hits that put them down then crack on in my book - it was the fact he hit him whilst already down on his back.

No he took long on off the ball.. I've got no problems with it as these things tend to even themselves up...as they did with Calderwood.
