As per usual everyone will act of their own self interests, that's just human nature.
Wakey are on no more borrowed time than Cas or Salford. Where probably more safer than them 2 teams on the current franchise scoring system due to our our average finishing position been higher. We are certainly more secure than that shambles outfit playing out off Wrexham.
As far as I am concerned Barrow should be playing yourselves at BV next season and either Wrexham or Salford should be gracing the LSV , no problem and I'd doubt you would find many if any on this board disagreeing with me , Though to actually save all the clubs outside SL the RFL have to promise a promoted club at the end of each licence period , if they dont we are all finished , and unfortunatley that might result in your club suffering something they have managed to avoid with on field performance

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

A simple "no thanks" would have been enough - its not like Sir Rodney has taken a crap on the floor of your boardroom.
Ay up m8 who do you and Rodanay think your talking to "fair lads" he was very naughty saying what he did. He knows full well Rovers never mentioned going to your ghost stadium, he sad it because he is trying to make it more of a community stadium. I would be very worried by that if i were you, why did he say it? That stadium will never happen and you will be playing us in a few years, and once again our crowds will beat yours

Our crowds averaged 1800 last season. the reason there not higher is because we arnt in the top flight and a lot of people are dissillusioned about what the RFL have done regards P+R

I've been following this thread for a while now and sense underlying bitterness towards Wakey, most of you hoping/wishing us to fall from grace have a fifty fifty chance of getting your wish. As for Rotherham fev fan, pure drivel you're spouting there mate,do you really think guys in higher places are gonna let slip what's happening in two years time?Nah me neither! For what it's worth here's my take on it. It's a 50/50 call,if we get building started we're in and probably will be for quite some time,if we don't and this project collapses we're kicked out and it's lower league rugby with you lads for the forseeable future!!!Simple,no whispers in the taproom RFF,just cold facts. Hope that helps!

I hope the new stadium is built just like the one we are hoping to build at Featherstone and one day all the 3 local teams are in S/L playing at the highest level. It is obvious that Widnes WILL be inS/L next time round and Halifax are knocking on the door so someone has to go or maybe 2 teams if the RFL have the balls to do it if its not you then who ?
Good luck for this season and lets hope that some bricks are layed and this is not more broken promises
One of Wakey Cas Salford, if the RFL have the balls and we all no they struggle at times, maybe Celtic won't last the season out if they can't fund themselves. It all depends on stadiums.
I don't see what Halifax would bring thats "extra" to the party but we'll see (good club good fans by the way)

aye they are. But widnes and leigh have top gaffs and wouldn't disgrace the league given an extended run. Can't see barrow being ready other than having a chairman wi deep pockets. Likewise, top fans up there!
