Think you need to understand the concept of Reading before posting again.

14000 avarage attendance per week would mean that figure would have to be grately increased against the lesser supported sides.

Which is EXACTLY what I said.

Think you need to understand the concept of it's only the busy-body FC fans who give a rats before posting again 8)
dont be stupid..even if fc dominated such as saints have for 5-10 years we wouldnt be averaging 24000....we would get in my opinion 16000 average....
i unlike many of your red friends live in the real world, and fc cannot drum up that level of support to fill the kc...just as kr cant drum up enopugh to fill 12-14000...
its a matter of fact...
Thankfully you are not involved in the admin at either club then , quite simply no club should ever be satisfied until whatever stadium they are in is full every time they play in it , and when it is they then should be looking how to get a bigger one , there are no limits other than the ones you set yourself

Who would have thought that a TV programme having no marks singing or dancing on a saturday night would draw in millions of viewers and generate millions of pounds with people ringing in to vote for them ? , but it has happened , and makes the person who thought of the idea make tens of millions out of it

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

No , to achieve a 14,000 average just means that you fill a 14,000 stadium every game

I thought an average was the amount of attendances over the season, divided by the number of games.

Unless they extend the ground again, this is not only unlikely,it would not be possible.

And my (extremely valid) point is that you do not need 14000 every game to achieve a 14000 average. In 2007 FC acheived a 14000 average but not every game attracted that many fans.

So, not only do you not understand the basic mathematic concept of mean/average, you can't articulate what you mean either. I don't know why I am surprised at either point.

But if the capacity is 14,000, you have to get a full house every week, ie 14,000, as there is no scope for getting any more to offset any sub-14,000 attendances.
