Our chairman wants a 20,000 average attendance long term.
Personally I think with better facilities and more success Hull KR will be easily above 10,000 especially for big games.
Spot on , unless you set the target and reach out for it , you will not achieve it or anywhere near it , they may have to become a bit inovative to get there , but by stating the aim they are setting out their stall , no club SL or other can be happy where they are , all clubs must strive to fill whatever space they have , Rovers stadium isn't currently big enough to support a SL club , they have a plan to extend it and are doing so , it is good to see a stated ambition

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

I am perfectly aware of the difference in total, mean, median and mode, thanks.
My point is that you do not have 9,000 passionate fans. Although everyone on RLFans is aware of the propensity for Rovers fans to exaggerate their support, of course.

One thing that may have bearing on the crowds for both of our clubs is that in this city the birth rate far exceeds the death rate and the city is also home to a number of immigrants so in 5 years time the population of the city will big bigger than it ever has, the key is to get youngsters introduced to the game early and also get people who didn’t know much about RL the chance to get to a game and then hopefully they will come back.

I've thrown a kettle over a pub, what have you done?

What is your highest average in your history?
Considering when the stadium is finally finished the capacity will only just be above 14,000 then it's not really possible.
Once the East Stand has been completed and the brand new £6m North Stand has been done, I'd like to see a brand new "away stand" at the South End with standing and seating areas to entice more fans to come to Craven Park.

They didn't say they would be , they said that is the target , surely the target for FC is to fill whatever capacity the KC is

Obviously 'in any kind of weather' dosnt apply to some of your lot! Good on them the loyal FC fans that did turn up by the way. Price dosnt come into it either because when i'm paying £20 or less I don't care if I sit or stand wherever that may be. The south stand will be sorted in time but at the moment its not a priority, the east stand being extended is as we know we have a chance of filling it and increase revenue. No point building a stand that is only going to be filled once a season if you decide to turn up. Yes you could fill our ground no problem so why don't you try filling the south stand for a start and support your team!
Before you get on your high horse mate i was there anyway and will support my team to the ends of the earth.I was talking about supporters in general and you can't blame them for not turning up.If Rovers have DREAMS about getting 10,000 plus crowds, then i would say it was urgent to get the south terrace sorted out very soon to get extra revenue through the turnstiles.

Can't argue with that. I think KR should be aiming for 14,000, its a good thing for Rugby League in general. Not sure it will happen in the current statium though. All clubs however should be continualy looking to improve attendance, our aim should be 20k as well. It takes the right ingredients, right stadium, right atmosphere (i.e a entertaining, family friendly one) with the most potentant of all, stable success on the field.

dont be stupid..even if fc dominated such as saints have for 5-10 years we wouldnt be averaging 24000....we would get in my opinion 16000 average.... i unlike many of your red friends live in the real world, and fc cannot drum up that level of support to fill the kc...just as kr cant drum up enopugh to fill 12-14000... its a matter of fact...
