1-nil, to the Salford Reds!
First game I ever went to, a week after my Dad moved back to Salford. The irony in the celebrations after that goal was hilarious. For better or worse I've been turning up ever since.

On a drop goal related question. Can you name our top 5 Drop Goal exponents (In terms of numbers kicked BTW) and for absolutely nothing extra (on top of the nothing being offered for getting this correct) can you give me the ammount they landed?

Off the top of my head, from recent years that my memory can still recall, I would guess that Holroyd, Watson, Lee, Blakeley or Goulding (in no particular order) might be up there?
I suspect Martin Crompton probably isn't.

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

You've found 1. As for The Wizard, you are indeed correct he doesn't appear on this list (or any other top Salford list )

Well, whilst the Offiah one was funny, my two personal favourites (in order)are the Graham Holroyd one when we beat Wigan 31-30 and the other is the Ian Watson one that salvaged a draw in the last seconds of the match against Sheffield, was it 27 apiece?
Another amusing one was the Nathan McAvoy DG that beat Bratfut 11-10 at the Willows, I'm sure that convinced them to pay us silly money for him the following season!

Oh s0d it. hate these statto fuelled games!
You have one...the same one as FBL
(This may not be a 100% accurate list by the way as the stats many moons back didn't show the whole picture, basically a goal was a goal drop or otherwise however I'm talking about the ones we have evidence of just to clarify things before Walshovski comes on moaning! )
