Why do the Hull FC fans still an obsession with Paul Cooke, a couple of weeks ago he was in Saltshouse Tavern with his girlfriend, and Neil Hudgell and his wife, me and my hubby were speaking to Paul , and in fairness he says he enjoyed his time at Hull FC.

But he always wanted to play for Rovers, a nice lad to speak to, and his girlfriend is a pretty girl.

I guess one of the women will have been diving then

So, no material difference between Horne and Cooke's "contributions" And as you have already said, Swain had a fair number of assists, plus you have Jason Smith, Lupton, Brough, Washy, even McMenemy over that time period.

And, of course, the stability of the halfback combination had no bearing on FC's most successful SL period. Cooke and Horne played together in 94% of games in that time.

What is your problem exactly, apart for still being bitter to the core because Cooke left.

From that I assume you're taking "assist" to mean touched the ball at some point in the set a try was scored then, not the normal definition of assist that Mild Rover pointed out.

As for bitter, not in the least. He's not worth wasting that much energy or time on.
