I may have asked you this before G1 (i can't remeber), what is your take on Jason Campbell?

Personally i'm a fan of his and think he is very competant and in the right system could do very well.

Rams fans (El Pac, Adam) i read somewhere that Bulger is considering retirement, i think that is more likely to lead to a case for Clausen being drafted.

Actually just looking for the article and Bulgers reps have just stated that he is not looking to retire.

I'd agree with that assessment.

There are issues with him. Unlike Manning (P) and the truly greats his decision making can be slow and he needs a lot of protection, also his release isn't the quickest. Having said that, he has poise, great feet, is as tough as teak (needs to be with our O line) and has a huge arm. I'd like to see him be more accurate with his intermediate throws.

I think there are four or five top notch QBs' in the league - Peyton, Brady, Rovers, Brees and Favre. He's nowhere near their class and probably won't ever be but I'd put Campbell in the middle of the next pack. We can win with him.

One thing I loved was that Shannahan said that he would make the system suit the QBs' strengths, the opposite of what Zorn tried to do by making Campbell a west coast QB.

I hope we keep him if for no other reason that there will be nobody better in free agency or, in the short term, in the rookie draft class.

The Seahawks have fired Jim Mora Jr. A bit rash after 1 season IMO.

I have a feeling that we'll take a run at Jason Campbell if he hits free agency.

Can't wait for the playoffs now :D Last week most of the games were god awful, love it when it comes down to win or bust.

Very funny cartoon about Commissioner Goodell here.

If you have never seen a "bang" cartoon about the NFL have a look back through the archives. They're funny.
