big season for Cooke this year, he has too play well doesnt he.
1) to earn himself a new deal or 2) earn a deal somewhere other than Wakey.
its gonna be interesting to see how his partnership with Dobson goes, id like to see him taking control of things a bit more, take some of the pressure off Dobson.

He was good for Hull 9and we have missed him and IMO that is to go with him not being replaced rather than how great he was, if Dykes stayed fit, we wouldnt even have noticed he had gone.
The problem with him at Hull is that we relayed on him too much in attack, if he wasnt playing well we didnt have a plan B.
... and since Cooke left you haven't had a plan A...
Either is a damning statistic about how little the rest of the team contributed FC's attack and both stats validate how totally overrated the rest of the team were - particularly Yeaman the Snail and Horne, who has been well and truly found out as a half-back since Cooke left...

The 73% figure is for the 2006 season.
The 83% is for the 4 seasons 2003 - 2006.

5th or 6th is appalling with the exceptional mr cooke in the side. Or do you mean his cooking was exceptional when he was at the FC?

Based on, as in the film Titanic was based on a ship that sunk, but 95% of the story was made up.

I think you're likely talking at slightly cross purposes, based on different definitions of 'assist'. I think the 83% was based on 'involved', which could just mean that the ball passed through a player's hands on the scoring tackle of the set. A more usual definition of assist would be the final pass or kick to set up a score.
