the fact of the matter is the south stand at craven park is open to the elements and is way too far away from the pitch to see any thing... so no matter if were playing well or not il never spend my hard earned cash to stand and try and squint my eyes to see whos who and whats going on, plus driving miss daisy ups the price any how when we play there, so who ever says "in any kind of weather" as a response, see it from our point of view ( thats if you can see that far through the rose tinted specs ) :UMB:

What about 'any kind of weather' :CURTAIN:

TBF the view from the South Stand is , as we all know, somewhat limited , when I've exited the ground via that route it has felt like somewhat of a detour. :)

I like toast as much as anyone , but not for breakfast , dinner and tea.

they could do with another cricket stand or something similar at the other end, that would be ideal.

Or get the new North stand built and shift the current one to the south - fingers crossed.

If they were having a good season and were competetive with us the South stand would have been full.

All honest Hull fans will agree with that. the others will continue with their pathetic excuses.

Standing up to the forum bully.

What a tragic and arrogant generalisation. 2 points for you:
I've not been to a Craven Park derby in the SL era. If you think I stay away from games because I expect defeat, why did I go to every other game last season (bar Murrayfield and London but including pre season friendlies)? Because I enjoy it. My previous experiences at Craven Park pre SL were not enjoyable as the atmosphere and spitting etc goes beyond RL banter IMO. I'm not saying it's different for Rovers supporters at the KC BTW. I just wouldn't take my family to the South Stand at Craven Park. The 70% premium reserved for FC's visit is shabby opportunism based on assuming a sellout regardless, so it's quite amusing that, it was a contributory factor in the ground failing to get near capacity.

The other point is that even with a low turnout from FC, tickets were returned in time for resale and were available in other parts of the ground. You must be very confident in latent demand to be creating the £6m North Stand on the back of not selling out home areas of the ground for the season's biggest game (crowdwise).
