A first run WWE Superstars that aired 1 hour before that got 0.8, ECW on Tuesday got 0.9, Smackdown! doesn't have ratings figures now as MyNetworkTV isn't a network anymore, they were previously getting around 1.7 with a maximum of 2.2 though.
So TNA didn't beat RAW but they beat Smackdown, ECW and Superstars and at least gave WWE some competition on Monday that improved both shows.
Agreed mate, it was the first time in ages that I felt genuinely intrigued with wrestling.
Hope TNA can keep it up.
Not seen all of Impact yet but have enjoyed the first hour.
What was with the dodgy X-Division match finish though? Don't blame the fans for chanting "This is bull s**t!", the talent and match deserved a clean winner IMO.
Can't believe I'm saying this (as a long-time Scott Hall/Razor Ramon fan), but I cringed at his appearance.
He looks so rough these days, to the point that you're actually wondering if he's slightly pi$$ed whenever he's on the mike!
On a more positive note though it was awesome to see Bret Hart back, and that's the way Bret should be celebrated and used - a true legend who can still contribute so much, as opposed to the bitter, can't-move-on guy he's been portrayed as (and brought on himself in all fairness) the last 12 years.
Full credit to Bret and WWE - hope there's a lot more to come.
Hope they release that Hitman t-shirt to buy too - looked cool and way better then Cena's crap merchandise.
