From memory and without thinking too much I would go Carney vs Leeds.
Best tackle was Rads - can't remember the game, but he lined up and tackled his man perfectly.
Their winger was running down the wing, no other player near him, Rads worked out his angles perfectly and tackled him into touch at the perfect time. It looked as though he had delayed too much, and to all the world that it was a try.
The best tackle I have seen by a mile.

Carney against Saints at KR the same season he scored the Leeds blinder. I shouted 'All the way Brian!' as he was in his own 20.. My Dad turns and laughs..
Next minute, the whole stand urging him up our end, then he scores! beaut!

There was another Rad tackle that stands out, it was at home against Saints, Micky Higham supported a break down the middle, rads had to turn around and chase him. He caught him with the best diving tackle i have ever seen, Higham knocked on, Rads knocked himself out.
Legend.

People always talk about Rads try saving tackle v Saints at Murrayfield, but IMO his tackle on the 2004 final at Cardiff against Saints (again on Albert) was even better.
He actually caught Albert from behind that day and tackled him into touch, one of the best tackles I have ever seen.

Similar tackle was in the England v Wales World Cup Semi Final at Old Trafford (1995?), Sullivan broke through and was destined to score, but Rads dove in and tackled him into touch...best tackle I have ever seen.

I think that's the one I was talking about, I had a feeling it was against Stains, and the winger was a bit quick.
