I find it interesting you assume Fitzgibbon's character is so weak that he will accept just turning up and taking his money. You either don't believe any of the extended eulogies about him as a player, person and leader that met his departure from Australia, or think he will do a 180 in terms of attitude. Let's see. O'Meley I think will go OK for us. You seem to hear a lot of things. Has the international coming over with Clinton signed yet?
I see you chose not to comment on the Cooke question. We both agree he has great ability. Most Rovers fans think he is not optimised at Rovers and has more to give than Morgan will allow. Either way, why are Rovers trying to tout him round to other clubs?
Not at all, I've learned to "switched off" in a deep sleep when any FC fan mentions Paul Cooke.
Anyway, it's simple, Michael Dobson is our main "go to man" and Cooke effectively plays more of an "assistant" role which he does very well.
The day Paul Cooke leaves Rovers will be a monumental day for this board as us Rovers fans live in hope the FC fans will spend most of their time posting their bitter and twisted bile on Cooke's new club's (Wakey???) respective board - come 2011 the Wakey mods will be crying at the feet of a Jesus statue praying for an end of the dross that bitter FC fans will post on their board whilst the likes GJB, GML and co. will become Vickers to rejoice and thank God there will at last be no more Paul Cooke threads on this board...
