Just got back from the game, absolute garbage! If Gibson is premier league standard I'm a prop forward (10st wet through). Don't get me wrong Leeds deserved it, as for the injury time I can only assume it was for the obscene time wasting from their keeper.
The 2 penalty calls, were they? From what I saw Welbecks looked possible Owens doubtful.

Put that prawn sandwich down, Gibson is a good player and is a useful player - Fletcher like.
It's Berbatov who is abysmal, I've said it from day one when he signed for United, has an appauling work rate.
Naylor and Kisnorbo for Leeds were trojans, top marks for their efforts! Leeds have a far better defence than most bottom half Premiership teams.

In summary, HKR are made up of of a few overrated foreigners, a couple of Wigan rejects and a couple of blokes I have never heard of.
Saints by plenty, by miles even!

HKR are about as poor as it gets.
When referring to the atmosphere of the HJ...

Shame it doesn't keep the sound like the full east stand of HKR. That's atmosphere.

Looked to me like Welbeck was on his way to ground well before any contact.

I always quite liked Michalik in his Bolton days (probably wouldn't be out of place there now) and he is only a bench player currently at Leeds. As you say a very good defensive unit.

I must have missed the Welbeack appeal, but any contact with Owen was outside the box and he fell in the area.
Thought it was a Gerrard type "dive" for me. Little chance of him getting the ball, minimal contact between him and the defender so he went to ground appealing for the pen.
The commentary team questioned why he'd go to ground in that position. Idiots.

Gibson will never be anywhere near as good as Fletcher. He is 22 and looks no where near good enough. No pace, doesn't seem to want to run with the ball hasn't got a good range of passing and offers very little defensively.
As for Berbatov, to call him abysmal is ignorant. I think his problem is 1, not quite being the player United fans thought they were getting, ie an out and out front man who'd allow Rooney to play his natural game and 2, he doesn't seem suited to our style of play. He always wants an extra touch on the ball which tends to then slow us down. He wasn't the problem today though the midfield was.

Ferguson livid at the lack of injury time, while looking even more like he had consumed a mixture of whisky, meths and boot polish.
You've stolen my washing From out my back garden You've tarmacked my driveway Even though I said no You've nicked my lead flashing And weighed it in at the scrappy Oh St Helen's tatters Come rob me again
