They can also remember what he was capable of delivering at Bradford and that he's still young and cheap. To be honest would you rather have got rid and had him come back to haunt us for the next 5 years? Or while it's not taking much cap and there's still some chance, keep persevering with him?

id much rather have goulding or thornley comiing through the ranks than having pryce sitting ther for another season wasting our money and time, get rid, a bad signing but people keep wanting to give the lad time, out now

And what exactly would it achieve? who exactly is he stopping from doing anything? As long as the club feel he's right to keep, then i'll support him just like the rest of the squad. Goulding has as much to prove as anybody if he wants to stay to, and as far as I know Karl wasn't keeping Ian from doing anything last season and won't be this.
hes not good enough, hes done 2 years at this club and done what, give me one memorable thing he has done, i dont think he has ever started or finnished a game, im not botherd if hes big and strong but hes got a heart the size of a pea, much rather spend our money on someone who would rather play for the club

He's just scored 20 tries in 15 games in the reserves (a better strike rate than Ainscough in the same competition), and got 3 tries in 5 starts and 2 subs in the first team (which you seemingly don't remember him starting, or coming on, or scoring), and he was still injured for the whole of 2008 back from his time at Gloucester and didn't play a game, what exactly do you expect him to have done in 7 appearances (2 as sub). I bet if he played with a smile, kissed the odd badge and was from Wigan he'd be being bigged up by loads of people now.
wow, i dont give a flying love if there from wigan or not i just want the best for my team, and if that involves getting rid of him then get rid, i want him to show some bottle and take the ball up like he wants to brake the line, well done if he scored 20 in 15, but thats the reserves not first team, it showed with goulding that he could score all day long in the reserves but first team is a little bit different, the sooner we get rid the better, he brings nothing to the team and i hope this so called new regime can change him, very doubt that to be honest

And he got 3 in 5 starts and 2 subs for the first team, including in his debut at Cas when we were trailing 16-6 at half time. Like a few other players, he's become a target where the stuff he does right gets overlooked, and every mistake he makes gets vilified, it's bloody embarrassing.
