It's certainly the last thing he wanted. He had a big opportunity here to reinvent himself, and the key to that would have been to hit the ground running. Now he'll be months behind everyone else.

I disagree, it sounds like just an unlucky injury - Joe Mellor just received an unlucky injury to.
If true thats a blow to the squad especially as we're yet to play a game and thats where we're most likely to pick up more injuries.
I suppose the only blessing is that it's not a first choice player in Pryce and if McILorum is out for 6 weeks he won't miss many games anyway(he also may not have been first choice).
Just looking on the other forum and the guy who said McIlorum had broke his hand has now said he needs an operation on it. He doesn't say if that means anymore time out but it wouldn't suprise me.
We could do with staying clear of many more injuries before the start of the season.
