Can see us playing like we did last year when we went there, park the bus and hope not to concede. Will be interesting to see if Rafa starts Aquilani again, I think he might move Gerrard a little deeper and play Dirk up front with Torres. Villa to have our pants down on set pieces, I'm thinking.

To Hull City FC
Happy belated christmas Regards G Megson.
You've stolen my washing From out my back garden You've tarmacked my driveway Even though I said no You've nicked my lead flashing And weighed it in at the scrappy Oh St Helen's tatters Come rob me again
That's why LFC wilfinish 4th IMO, the ability to go away to a tough place against a team in from and produce the goods, I think CIty will run them very close though but there vulnerability at the back may hamper them.

I haven't watched the game, but from reports I'd hardly think that nicking the game in the 92nd minute counts as producing the goods.
Jesus Christ the BBC are rubbish: PREMIER LEAGUE O'Neill sees Villa bouncing back Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill insists his side's last-gasp loss to Liverpool will derail their bid to break into the Premier League's top four. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... efault.stm
I think Liverpool will probably finish in the 4 because they have experience and motivation to do it. But the biggest reason they'll struggle is because there are so many competitors for the position. When one side alone has been up against Arsenal or Liverpool for 4th place they've usually bottled it. But there's a good chance that at least 1 out of the 4 won't lose their bottle.
Citeh's qualification could cause real problems for Chelsea and Man United. Both us and you have a fair amount of aging players who are going to need replacing sooner or later. If Citeh have CL qualification theyy're likely to be chasing all the players we are interested in. They don't need to buy those players to harm us, just be there to bump up the prices we pay.
A horrible thought went through my head where I chose Tottenham as the team I wanted to get 4th, but no way do I want them to have any success, so I'll pick Villa to get fourth.
Villa 4th, Scousers 5th, Tottenham 6th and Citeh 7th is my choice of what I want to happen. The only reason I want the scousers to get 5th is because the Europa is such an inferior comp that it won't be an achievement for them. For Spurs or a sensible Citeh they would think that the Europa qualification was a job well done.

Villa have had the perfect chance to put forward their bid in the last 2 games and failed miserably. I agree with what you say about City r.e them being very dangerous if they make the CL, I just fear for them defensively as it looks like Lescott and Toure maybe have been panic buys when in reality they had a pretty good CB in Dunne.
