Unfortunately the Boxing Day match against Doncaster has had to be called off. A pitch inspection at 8 a.m. showed areas of the pitch still deep frozen and the car park and spectator areas very dangerous.

Any news on whether it will be rescheduled?

It seems that it is unlikely to be re-arranged as Featherstone have a number of other friendlies arranged.
(I immediately asked that question too ).

I'd be surprised if Fev aren't very keen to reschedule, we've been selling tickets to cover all 4 pre season games. No idea how many were sold but I don't imaging the club will be wanting the hassle of sorting out full or partial refunds..

The Hunslet Old Boys v Sharlston Rovers BARLA Yorkshire Cup Final was played at Featherstone on Sunday. Pity the thaw didn't materialise quicker!
