So because the Crusaders are clearing off oop north, your club doesn't want "another" "weak" team entering the competition?

When the Celtic Crusaders was a real team, we beat you in scores AND attendances.

The majority of Celtic Crusaders supporters come from Bridgend and intend to support the new side if it takes off.

We also have quite a large support structure, abandoned by the Wrexham club and loads of new talent coming through.

If the better of the two submissions go through, we can supply an entirely welsh side with an average 2000 attendance minimum (in CC1) that would win promotion to CC within 2 seasons and with a better liked and more professional ownership, bigger crowds would follow.

Unfortunately though, DEWSBURY doesn't like that idea! DEWSBURY wants all the cash for itself.

Cocks!

you lot could learn a few lessons from dewsbury, unbeaten all season (you may have to google "unbeaten" not "beaten") steadily pulling back the crowds, tidy stadium, oh and history (again google "history") good luck dewsbury ,see you next season.

The Rugby League community are brassed off at The RFL throwing money at a club that's been in existence for 3 years and have management that couldn't oraganise the proverbial in brewery.

Whether you bring more ton the table or not it's been largely given on a platter so don't come on here spouting rubbish about a club that's at least has earnt its crust.

They were in the UK under a holiday permit for 2 years I think and they played and beat you with them.

Widvik2001: you lot could learn a few lessons from dewsbury, unbeaten all season (you may have to google "unbeaten" not "beaten") steadily pulling back the crowds, tidy stadium, oh and history (again google "history") good luck dewsbury ,see you next season.

Oh dear, yet another Widnes fan having a pop at a Welsh club :? why do people who are against this whole idea of a Welsh club persist on saying 'we have more history than you? The 'Wrexham' Crusaders did believe it or not have history, like their first ever Super League game against the Whinos...or even the NL2 (back then) trophy..or even the NL1 Grand Final which Widnes failed to make. Ever game they play history is being made so perhaps you have to look up history. And regarding the crowds I recall Widnes pull 5k against St. Helens by giving out free tickets.

Moans scousas :? It's good that not all the Widnes fanbase is an idiot like you.

Merry christmas and a happy new year.

I'm fairly sure Widnes is an older club than Dewsbury (not that it matters). But harking on about history is pretty rich coming from a fan whose club hasn't been around in more than a couple of months. In fact it's plain daft.

You just don't get it. =/

History is constantly being made. Theoretically the Crusaders DID have history. Espacially when they won NL2,,,,,which is history and will be recorded by the RFl...they made it to the NL1 G.F in their first season in NL1.And yes I know alot of other clubs have more history cause their older!!! And when the Scorpians play Workington on the opener that will be history.

Get it now?

But even in that context Widnes have more 'history' unless you're just on about last season?
