only time will tell on this issue and its not really in the fans hands or the clubs tbh. All we can do is turn up to the matches and support the players.

I hope that Wakefield get their new stadium as soon as they can as their performances on the pitch deserve it.
In Salfords case the application was derailed as you put it by The Rt Hon John Prescott( The friend of the working class - mock Tudor columns - Two jags etc) who for reasons known only to himself called us in for a public enquiry which cost us nine months in time and £200/300k in money.
You are lucky in that JP will be out of office come next year and wont be able to poke his nose in to your affairs.

Another red herring from one of the two clubs (Salford + Wakefield) who have constantly promised but in reality will not deliver. I only hope the RFL see through the next phase of smoke screens of clubs with terrible grounds clutching at straws to stay in the top flight and thats without starting on rubbish crowds, etc....

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

No real comment to add but thought it was a post worth repeating in the hope some of our fans understand as you have some of the troubles we've encountered.

I saw a bit of Steve Gibson and Blakely at his best.

Might sound like sour grapes, but facts are facts, certain clubs have promised over and over again and still nothing has happened. The reality is these clubs need to be worried next time around because the RFL cannot afford another media C~~~ up with the franchise applications and the expansion area trick is wearing thin with no real progress with crowd levels.

OK "Might sound like sour grapes, but facts are facts," certainly does sound like sour grapes so agree this is a fact
"certain clubs have promised over and over again and still nothing has happened." Over and over again: we have only had ONE FRANCHISE APPLICATION so how can you make repeated promises in ONE appliction? "but facts are facts"
"The reality is these clubs need to be worried next time around because the RFL cannot afford another media C~~~ up with the franchise applications" The media criticised on the fact that there will be no promotion and demotion for three years ... Apart from that the Twickenham orientated media did not care if Widnes or Fazackerley Clogdancing Rugby League team did not get in; they are fixated by Football and Rugby Union , "but facts are facts"
"and the expansion area trick is wearing thin with no real progress with crowd levels." Let's put this carefully: Salford is not in an expansion area. There used to be a Manchester Cup. "But facts are facts". not a Fax fan, are you?
